RIDE THE HIDDEN PATH
Hi,
It had been a long time since I wrote in here. Well its for the good. Me and my team just finished organising a race in Sungai Lembing Kuantan Pahang. Its a success. This time we use electronic scoring system which was supplied and serviced by The Raceboy. They've done a very good job in giving real time results. I am able to consolidate the result in my reports to all agencies involved and especially to our records. Now lets move on...
RIDE THE HIDDEN PATH
It speaks by its own. We are going to organise a far more exciting event ever in Pahang. I am in the process to start my campaign to more towards international participation. My team is now in phase 3 in completing the event's profile. The route will start from Lepar Utara in Jerantut, Pahang and finished in Kuala Tahan National Park Jerantut Pahang. Its a 160km 3 stages ride. Whats unique in this event? Is it the same as before? Well we did promise a difference in every event we organised and the same goes with this event. We will have lots of exciting activities and for nature lovers, this is a chance to really explore the nature from within.
ROUTE
In words, I can describe that it is an interesting ride. We start from the gateway to National Park at Lepar Utara reserved forest. Day 1 is a 51km ride to a site which was used as logyard. Its a wide plain where we will build a campsite for participants. Participats only ride their way to the site. Everything else is done by the support team. Meals and other basic requirement is ready when participants reached the camp site. The terrain is ridable and our backup is standard. We have medic and sweeper following from behind and security for riders is well maintained. Day 2, a 47km ride to Kg. Mat Daling. There we will camp near a river bank which is very beautiful. The scenic view is marvelous. for those who likes to fish.... well we'll see about it. we will eat traditionally. There will be few activities from local agencies in the village which we can participate.
Day 3, a 60km ride to Kuala Tahan National Park. When we ride, there will be lots of filling stations along the way. From start to finish, we will make sure that all is in good condition.
PROVISION
We will provide camping tents, Cook team, Medic, Sweeper, Marshals, Repair Mechanic and etc. Along the route, every 15km there will be filling station, fillup and ride again. Security is done by RELA, Armed forces.
Breakfast, lunch and dinner will be serve at resort/camp sites.
When you arrive on the 15th. June, you'll be lodged in at Tekam Plantation Resort, Jerantut. You'll be taken to the starting site by truck and bus and the ride begins. After reaching the ending (Kuala Tahan National Park) you'll be lodged in the resorts located there. There will be transport the next day for us to transfer you back to Tekam Plantation Resort. All your baggage during the ride will be carried by our Support team in their 4x4 truck.
REGISTRATION
Registration is opened. you may visit the website http://www.arineenadventures.com/hiddenpath to register. Through our experience, some failed to pay the fees early resulting their jersey/T-Shirt were sent late. We will only reserved 200 participating for the ride. Its a limited edition. First come first serve. When the counter reaches 200 registered participants (which paid the fee), we will closed our online registration. Please make sure you register early.
FEE
Fee is RM350. It includes lodging, tents, meals at camp site, filling station's drinks and snacks.
SPECIAL EVENT
For those who love to easy ride, carry on. But for those who likes to compete with each other, like a race, you may do so. We will judge you by your position and time. The category of prize will be as follows:
1. Best time (20 rider)
2. Stage winner (1 rider)
3. Overall best time (1 rider)
You must finish all 3 stages in order to qualify.

WE ARE MOVING ON
Hi there, Well it had been a very good and full with excitement this end of 2009. On 27th. December 2009 Arineen Adventures Team had manage to launch Monsoon Ride 09 1st. Series. The count is 434 participant out of 500 turn-up. Our starting is a bit late due to some late comers at goodies station. This my own personal "expect the unexpected". Should not happen in the future.
I must admit that many of the participant finished their ride even if it took them long hours to reach the ending. The funride is not about time and who but its about the ride. My respect to our VIP Dato' Hj Shafik Fauzan Bin Hj Sharif, who finished his ride without help from our marshals. His determination to finish on his own makes me cry. My partner once told me, When you ride the bicycle road or mtb, your life is depending on you yourself. You and only you can decide whats next. Thus your ride is on you. The monsoon, the obstacle, the thrill, the challenge and the hardship pays if you tells your body that you can do it.
I had lots to say about the event. Our crew slept at 4am everyday just to ensure that all is in the package. The list is long and all thanks to our friends and volunteers, we managed to be ready on time. For contributors, We thank you. To all Sponsors, thanks for the lucky draw gifts. To all participants, thanks for being there.
But now its time we have to move on. We moved our office to a new location in town center. We also would like to inform all viewers and everybody, we are shifting our blog to our own website at www.arineenadventures.com starting today. Many thins to update and we hope to serve the community at our very best.

This is to inform all participating riders for the Monsoon Ride 09 which will be held in Gambang, Pahang on 27th. December 2009.
VENUE
We have changed the Flag Off venue to AGRO RESORT SEMUJI with effect from today. We already got good response from the Resort management on accommodation and meals. We will have the whole Resort for 2 days (26/12 and 27/12).
For those who wishes to stay for 2 days 1 night (26 & 27) or earlier, please email your request by sending your NRIC and days of stay, arrival date and phone number to contact. email to info@arineenadventures.com We have arranged with the resort regarding the accommodation.
REGISTRATION
New form in our blog for online registration includes selection of ride, accommodation, T-Shirt size. Please use the form. For those who filled up the old form will be contacted by admin via email to verify these three information. We have all the names that registered here. We will publish your names later this mid November. If you didn't see your name on board, do inform us, we will double check the database.
PAYMENT
All payment MUST be done through COMPANY'S BANK ACCOUNT ARINEEN EVENT MANAGEMENT at MAYBANK BERHAD. A/C No.: 556011014681. Please email us your bank in slip and note in the email your Pay for REG. FEE, Name and NRIC to info@arineenadventures.com

Is done already yesterday. I was there.... I am one of the secretariat. The ride supposed to start early in the morning but some riders didn't arrive yet. Wow so many riders I counted and there are 250 riders alone and two motor-cross marshals Mr Kassim and Mr. Nik. Four 4x4 4WD supporting us in this 36km ride and what a trill.... I was told the route is tough. I am preparing the picture of the event. I'll put it in the blog soonest possible. Buy the newspaper, Berita Harian, Harian Metro, Cycling Malaysia Forum etc.
Finally here are some pictures in links that you might want to look. They are taken by participants. Imagine our 11 yrs old rider finished his ride. Then there is the oldest. I leave it to you guys to really think. How do they start the 36km ride. Some comments I received said that the 36km ride is tough, others said its easy, well its up to your judgement.
